My 4yo girl fell off a stool a few months ago and left a blood trail leading from the kitchen, up the carpeted stairs to our bedroom. To tell the truth, I had DH look at it. LOL! While I cleaned up the carpets.Susannahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16381272662339466736noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14943121.post-39431481004643578662008-04-25T09:42:00.000-04:002008-04-25T09:42:00.000-04:00Kristina and Rocker,I feel so much better knowing ...Kristina and Rocker,

I feel so much better knowing other mom's do opt out of the stitches! :-)

Mildred!

You made my year. My...Ah, Yes...those heads seem to bleed like crazy. My daughter knocked my little boy into an end table one night and his cut is in the exact same place. We also did not sit in the ER for hours and figured his hair would cover the scar anyway.

Hope he is better now!

Linda My Trendy Tykeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05670932450797484248noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14943121.post-70529929493089303322008-04-24T18:22:00.000-04:002008-04-24T18:22:00.000-04:00Oh my goodness! That is exactly the wound that Dominic...Excellent. That is exactly the wound that Dominic had on his head this week. Unfortunately, I didn't think of the shower to get rid of the blood. If I had seen it before taking him in, I wouldn't have taken him. He's just had so many head wounds that I've gotten to be able to tell which ones need stitches.

I've even said no to stitches on his face that were just for scarring. He's a guy. He's had stitches twice on his face and on one of them, he actually has scars from the stitches! Of course, that one HAD to be stitched up. We call him Frankenstein now.:)

Thanks for the shower idea. I'll have to remember that one.Kristinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04589107941801563478noreply@blogger.com
