6 TBSP cocoa, 1/4 C butter, 1 C sugar, 1/2 tsp vanilla, 1/3 C flour, 2 eggs, Cook 350 - 25 mins.

I leaned back, breathed a sigh of relaxation a moment ago and looked up to rest my eyes.
This was not quite what I expected to see just above my head as I was yawning.

I used to be one of those people who would shake my head at those who detested spiders. I would say things like, "Their fangs can't penetrate human skin." and "They aren't going to harm you. They are God's creatures."
Then my brother was bitten by a spider and hospitalized for a week. He has VERY large scars on his forearm where the surgeons had to lay his flesh open, remove the dead tissue and leave it open to heal from the inside out. The doctors were very happy with the scarring results because they were concerned the poison was going to get into his blood stream and kill him. They were able to get the flesh eating venom out of him before it invaded his muscle.
You know what I think of spiders now? I hate them.

Is the one above my head a variation of this Brown Recluse? I can't tell.

When I can, I'll let them crawl around the house. Until then, they go bye, bye...and besides that, they're yucky!
Word to the wise.

OH MY GOSH... I just got the worse case of the heebie jeebies ever. *shivers* I loathe spiders and freak out if I see one. I even close my eyes if they are on TV. I'm a weenie. LOL

P.s. I have no idea what that spider is, but it's still not fun to look at. LOL
