TRICKERY AND TREATERY WILL GET YOU CANDERY...

Candy Day is a fun day for our family. For the last 4 years we've held a tradition of going over to our family's home to trick or treat together. It's a fun time. Our boys and their cousins, Sarah and Colleen, go house to house led around by their fathers. I get to talk with my wonderful friend, and Aunt in law, Mary, while we hand out candy.

This year Sarah was a princess, angel, butterfly with invisible wings..among other things. :-) Colleen was a pretty fairy princess. Kazz 14, didn't care to dress up. He hung out with Brian and Uncle Dan while the kids went trick-or-treating. Brise was a maniac in a cloak and top hat. Vinze was Harry Potter, and really looked like him with those dark eyes and dark hair. Daxx was Thomas the Train and Kole was Mater from the movie Cars.

This is the first year the twins, being 2, really realized what the heck was going on. Daxx kept saying, "Two?" each time he went up to the candy bin. Sometimes they gave him two sometimes they let him take a handful. That was a mistake. He's small but boy can he grab candy! LOL Kole would politely get one or two and go on his smiling way.

Vinze being Harry Potter was equipped with a scar and the whole nine yards. He didn't want to wear the glasses at first because he thought he would look like a geek. Once he saw how much he looked like Harry he was quite happy to wear them.

Daxx and Kole couldn't understand what was going on. Kole kept saying, "Is Daxx a Train?" I would say yes. Daxx was just looking at his brother wondering what in the world. There were giggles all over the place that evening, EXCEPT when they saw Brise...THEN THERE WERE SCREAMS...AND Laughter. LOL

These are the days that dreams are made of.

I just can't believe my life!
