Saturday our family enjoyed the new Polar Express Tour
that our local community center offered for the first time this year.
...bet you think that's a train, huh.
It's a bus.
We got to ride around our city to look at homes decorated for Christmas.
We heard the Polar Express story, in a loud, crackly, indiscernible tone from
a tape recorder played through a bus PA system.
BUT AFTERWARD....
The boys got to swig some piping hot chocolate, eat cookies, make a craft and
see SANTA CLAUSE!
The kids took it all in stride and laughed it up.
Kazz and Brise helped their younger brothers
with ther crafts.
They held them for pictures and were a
GREAT BIG BLESSING
that evening.
Kole asked for a BIG flashlight for Christmas.
Daxx didn't care to sit on his lap.
Vinze asked for a Radio Controlled Car.
It was a merry mood the boys were in that night.
The television news camera man took many, many shots of Daxx and Kazz.
It was just a fun evening all around.
Brian and I were complimented over and over again about how
well behaved our sons are and how they are so very nice.
We were so proud of them that evening!
We All had such a nice Family Night.
I firmly believe that God makes nights like these so mothers can have a wonderful memory
to hold to, on the days when plans do not go so smoothly! :-)
