The Camping Trip...

We hooked up with some of our dear friends last month. Since we've both bought campers this year it was a must that we vacation together just to break the campers in! :-)

We picked a campground not too far from home. The boys were able to run themselves ragged. Brian and I were able to sit and talk with adults around a campfire and the weather was as sweet as can be. We did have a water view site...water meaning that the day before we were to camp a rain, like no other, pounced on our site causing quite the puddle. It didn't dry up while we were there. We were forced to wear long sleeves and pants at night to stave off mosquitoes. However, After a quick Meijer run and lathering on OFF SPRAY we were right back in the business of having fun. :-)

This particular KOA has a neat place next to it called Sawmill City. Campers can slide down a huge water slide,








ride on bumper boats, race go-carts,

have water balloon battles in the water balloon battle pit,

and

ride a cool antique looking train around the grounds.

Another fun thing we got to do was rent what is called a Family Limo...

That was a trip!

By the end of the hour our legs felt like jello. The bad part is that we had to walk a pretty fair hop skip and a jump back to our site after we took the Limo Bike back to the rental office.

Shew!! What a trip! :-)
