September..School..Tummy Trials

So It's September already. Good grief.. I've managed to write a little each month anyway. What's happening now? Well...

Kazz is in a private school. He enjoys it so very much. He tried the band...It wasn't for him. He had visions of Drumming to modern rock and looking ever so cool...Kinda hard to do when the teacher sticks you on the xylophone and never talks to you after that. He stood there through each class looking at the music never hitting a bar. *shaking my head at the teacher* ...and when he gave her the transfer slip she had the nerve to ask, "Why?" to which he replied, "I don't know what I'm doing." She signed the slip. He's taking Spanish now and likes it much better.
Kazz is also fencing quite a lot now. He is participating in tournaments. He likes it more and more each day it seems. Brian and I are so happy that he found something to work toward. We can't believe how much he has grown.

Brise is homeschooling. He likes to ride his bike to his friends' homes. The fact that they are in school now sort of puts a damper on the bike riding. He has quite a bit of schoolwork to do during the day but still has times where he's lacking and would like a buddy to play around the house. He and Vinnie are finding out that each other make quite the play mate when in a pinch. Homeschooling has really brought them closer. Gotta love that! Brise informed me that he may want to go to school where Kazz goes next year. Unless we hit the jackpot I don't see that happening. I mean really...E-bay is good but I'm not sure it's THAT good! :-)

Vinnie is as talkative as ever. He loves Wednesday Church. He is full of questions about why God made this and how God made that. He has dreams of God showing him Heaven. He asks why God made things this way and that. I can't get a break for all his talking. Can't they make interactive TV? LOL Yes, I said it and if you are a mom shaking your head at me you either don't have more than two children or you are in denial about the need for a mother to have quiet time. TV...is my friend...my very good friend...babysitter even.

The twins...Oh they have learned to say a few words. Daxx is calling me "shelly-mom" more like "selymum" which is so, so cute. Kole has taken to yelling for Kazz and Daxx. They love to High Five if I happen to catch one in the midst of pooping and happen to get them on the pot in time. They hate the potty but love to high five and clap if they make the pee pee or poo poo in it. What funny little boys!

Potty training was not my thing when Kazz and Brise were little. I waited it out until they were around 3 and started to push the issue. With twins I'm taking a different approach...that being...ONE of them WILL be potty trained by 2 1/2. I figure if I can get one out of diapers that's all the more money toward say...a new kitchen??? I mean two in diapers for another 2 years...ummmm...NO! :-)

Brian is in Canada as I type this. He's working there. I couldn't go with him this time. Too many kiddo's. That's a good problem I suppose. :-)

It's late and I am ready to zonk out. What's up with me? Irritable Bowel Syndrome. If you've heard of it or have it you know it's not a pleasant thing. If not...Don't ask! The cruddy sickness strikes like a snake. One day you feel like Queen of the world and the next you're stuck on the pot. Ho humm..There are worse things to have I suppose...crinkling nose...but I'd rather not know what this is if it's all the same. *sigh*

So I'll sign off and hit the sack...

Can you believe the blessings in your life?
I can't believe mine. :-)

She stuck him on a xylophone? Yikes.

Yes, just what every teenage boy dreams of playing--if every teenage boy were Liberace.

I would have dropped that class like a hot rock too.

Yes, the xylophone! Can you imagine?

At least he still has fencing. Having a passion at this age is so important. Mine was softball. Ahhh...the memories! :-)
