What do homeschoolers do all year?
PLAY!
-------------------
Play on teams.
Play with science.
Play on the computer. Play between lessons. Play during lessons. Play because of lessons.
They just play, learn, laugh, travel, explore and experience more field trips in one year than most children experience in 13 years of school.
Maybe that's why homeschoolers test higher than public and private schooled children in every subject.
That's a nifty bit of information to spout off to those who feel sorry for the poor homeschooled children who are "stuck at home all of their childhood."
I'll tuck that in my cap...and I'll show them my son's third grade achievement test, given by certified teachers, where he tested 9th grade in science. Yes, 9th grade at 8 years old. There's always the fact that he began college at 14 also.
Gotta love it!
